Going through Carjet or doyouSpain.com ensures you have no excess on the insurance, but it is worth while checking if some of the other local rental companies have any special deals on.

When going to Alicante airport it is recommended that one of the party goes straight to the rental desk as you can avoid queuing. 

At Murcia the rental desks are in the baggage collection so again go to the car hire desk straight away.
